At LoongWeave, we craft and curate traditional Chinese silk brocades and luxury textile goods. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because we offer both raw cut-to-order textiles and finished goods, our return and refund guidelines are structured specifically by product category.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Cut-to-Order Silk Brocade Fabrics
Because our silk brocade fabrics are cut specifically to your requested meterage or yardage from the roll, they are treated as custom cut-to-order items.
Eligible for Return / Replacement (Fabric)
You may request a return, exchange, or full refund within 14 days of delivery only under the following strict conditions:
1.Manufacturing Defects: Severe structural flaws such as large-scale missing weave (skipped stitches), holes, severe yarn pulls, major dyeing flaws, or incorrect pattern/width sent.
2.Uncut Condition: The fabric must be completely uncut, unwashed, unstitched, untreated, and unaltered, with all original tags and packaging intact.
3.Proof Required: You must provide clear photographic or video evidence of the defect before any cutting or sewing takes place. Once fabric is cut, all quality claims regarding that cut section are permanently voided.
If a manufacturing defect is verified, LoongWeave will cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund.
Non-Returnable Conditions (Fabric)
- Cut Fabric: Any fabric that has been cut, measured, sewn, washed, ironed, treated, or altered in any way is strictly non-returnable.
- Color & Display Variations: Slight color differences caused by monitor calibration, lighting, or screen settings do not constitute a quality defect.
- Inherent Traditional Brocade Tolerances: Traditional jacquard silk weaving features delicate artisanal characteristics. Minor floating threads, subtle starting/ending knots, slight tension variations across the weave, and a length measurement tolerance within 5 cm are considered normal artisanal craft phenomena, not defects.
- Customer Error: Choosing the wrong color, pattern, weight, or ordering incorrect yardage does not qualify for return.
Normal craft phenomena ≠ quality defects
Traditional silk jacquard is a living textile craft. Small variations can be part of the character of the weave and are not automatically manufacturing defects.

Minor floating threads
Small joins or starting points
Small isolated floating threads may occur in a traditional jacquard weave.
Local thread joins and subtle weaving transitions can be visible on close inspection.

Light pattern variation
Slight tension or texture variation is a natural result of the weaving process.

Length tolerance within 5 cm
A measurement tolerance within 5 cm is considered a normal production tolerance.
Return Process & Shipping
1.Contact Us First: Email atelier@loongweave.com with your order number, photos of the issue (if reporting a defect), and reason for return. Do not ship items back without prior authorization.Upon approval, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package. (Return Address: Room 10, 13/F, Unit 2, Building C1, Hankou Eastern Shopping Park, No. 2159 Jiefang Avenue, Jiang’an District, Wuhan, Hubei, China)
2.Shipping Responsibility:
- For change-of-mind returns on finished goods or uncut whole rolls, the buyer pays return shipping.
- For verified manufacturing defects, LoongWeave covers return shipping.
3.Inspection & Refunds: Once received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
LoongWeave reserves the right to final interpretation of this return policy in accordance with applicable ecommerce and consumer protection laws.
Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if they have not yet been processed or cut. Once a fabric order is cut, it cannot be cancelled.
